XDRAGOON is a webcomic series that tells the adventures of two dragons called Rocky, Alfred and a human girl, Renata Oliveira, against the menace of Gan-Mah planet imperor, Krad. Full of action, adventure and comedy, XDRAGOON is for kids with more than 10 years.Release sheduled to: August 1st 2008 (tentative)
XDRAGOON é uma série de quadrinhos online que vai contar as aventuras dos dragões Rocky, Alfred e a garota Renata Oliveira, contra as ameaças do governador do planeta Gan-Mah, Krad. Cheio de ação, aventura e coédia, XDRAGOON é uma série para o público jovem, para cima de 10 anos.

Rocky actually was created in end of 2003 after I had a dream with his design. In the occasion, was going to use him on my old comic "Dragon Seth" which I was working at the time, but scrapped later. But I had the feeling I coudn´t discard that character.
Alfred was created for the animation. He´s design was inspired on the Dragon Boss of "Wonder Boy in Monster World" for Mega Drive. And to make a tribute to the Chaotix return in 2003, I give him the gold chain necklae as reference to Vector.
XDragoon was created originally as an animation to conclude my 2D animation course. The propouse was to create a Short movie with 10-20 seconds. XDragoon was about 45-50. People was amazed on what I got, so the idea to evolve it into a series got stronger.

Yeah, I noticed the Vector similarities when I first found XDragoon in 2012. Using characters from dreams is a cool thing to do. Dreams can give people some great ideas.
What about Philip and Berry? I think the fanfare wonders if Philip is based upon Knuckles the Echidna?

Phillip isn´t based on any character. He was going to be called Chameleon and he´s main color was brown. But to avoid racial questions, I decided to change him to red and give him Fire Powers.
Berry, was created to be Krad´s assistant, but I decided to make her an Elite Soldier to make her make a pair with Phillip in the beggining. Her prototype name from 2005, was Beauty. Later I wanted to call her Susan, but in the end Changed to Berry. Her prototype appears on XDragoon: Rockstar 3 and 4

It´s too much Sonic influence in my draw style, I can´t neglect it. XD Also, Rocky is a lot different to Vector in personality, the other dragon is more similar to Vector in this term. But you can consider this a tribute to the croco.
