I didn't even see the drips -- I just saw the organic branching of these countless roots. (Crystal? or ice? They look like they either are alive or were alive very recently.) The change from dark solidity of the foreground roots to the fading wash of the background says how overwhelmingly bright and vast this chamber must be... as if the tiny character wasn't even of a clue. Calm, vast -- brilliant!

I am a huge traditional art fan. I know you are critical of this because it is your work, but I love it...it just fills up all the space and makes the viewer feel so small!

I suggest you not to dissolve too much acrylics. Then you can try to use its covering properties, you can just paint over it if you're not satisfied. (unlike watercolors)
