I was suuper proud of this when I drew it almost like a year ago around april I still really like it but now I see so many mistakes lololol oh well~ I made it one of my art IB projects cuz like why not hahaha it's not like my teacher would know I drew it for an art book

This night sky is amazing, it feels like watching a real one ! You also gave a really good sense of depth and space to the scenery that makes the night sky even more wider. All of this is beautifully enhanced by the floating movement of the scattering lanterns.
I like the perspective, it seems we're watching from a nearby boat at water level, as if taking a discreet, secret part of the picture. I also liked that the bridge was drawn a little bit aside, that too contributes to open the view.

This is a stunning and very beautiful picture.

If there are mistakes in this work they are happy ones. I see every point of light as a soul being released on its journey. A woman (possibly the artist) stands on a bridge that might also be the coil of a dragon emerging from the waters. There is a playful duality that exists between the very bright areas of the composition and the darker spaces while the intense aqua color leads the viewer's eye around the work so that it can be enjoyed in full.
