I was suuper proud of this when I drew it almost like a year ago around april I still really like it but now I see so many mistakes lololol oh well~ I made it one of my art IB projects cuz like why not hahaha it's not like my teacher would know I drew it for an art book

Wow. This is really amazing. All the different cool colors compliment the yellow lanterns super well. And the dash of red in her scarf plus the glow in the off center make the piece really solid. Beautiful.

Let dancing partners be a pair, so more of your idealized pictures could become a dreamy sphere image, now your eyes closed, would anything come to your perception? Now, let the memory dance itself, allow more and less ideas to become truer or more false, tender lovers would cry, could nights still be yours?

I'd like to see this kind of work extended a bit. The openness of the scene would give a great sense of space and presence.
The lanterns look almost as they would just pop off and fly away.
