Description
Saskia Lautrec is a Half-Demon dancer at the Kitti Cat Club (a fine, exclusive establishment for the discerning Lady or Gentleman) in the City. On the floor or the poles she has little to hide, but she harbours a deep secret in that she actually works as an undercover Police officer stationed at the Club not only as protection for Kitti and her performers and ...artists, but to keep a close eye on the dealings of the Club's shadier clientele. A less deep secret but one of the chief reasons Saskia was selected for the job is her remarkable and prehensile foot-long tongue... a fact that leaves plenty to the imagination.

Although they look dangerous, the spines and skin ridges over her body are actually very soft, almost rubbery. The real danger comes from the quills that grow from her head instead of hair, which have poison tips and can be shot out, much like a porcupine's.

Saskia came about as I was attempting to draw up some fluff material for EmiliAlys' Neo Horror setting. The Kitti Cat Club is a great source of intruige and fun in an already highly bohemian society and I wanted to depict some of the people that worked there. A couple of aborted sketch attempts later, one face stood out for me and Saskia's character started to shine through and become something more.
