Shank Wartooth is legend among the Warwolf clans of the surviving world... she was one of the Three to blow the Great Horn and warn the rest that their purpose was upon them.
A slip of a girl of seventeen (if 'slip' can be used to describe a 400lb, 7' 8" Warrior-born Brute female) at the time, she lived and fought through the horrors of the Event and was nigh unmatched in her ferocity and tenacity.

100 or so years later, 'Shank' is now the most popular name given to young Brute females in the present day. City Warwolves with a head for history and myth have made pilgrimage to the North to Den, where Shank Wartooth and many others began the fight to protect the world from impossible, inscrutable evil.

Shank is an attempt to depict a true female Conan-type warrior without resorting to too many fantasy tropes. She comes from a humanoid species genetically created for survival and pragmatism in harsh climates and violent times - these are not a creative or enterprising people, few of them know how to work metal and it is a scarcity besides; fur, leather and whalebone suit their purpose.
