I've always wondered how Vader would react after seeing R2 again,
I mean given his history with r2 as Anakin. Yeh I wish too that they had a scene like this in one of the movies.

Even C-3PO. I mean, Anakin was the one who constructed him and he didn't recognize the droid when he saw him as Vader? Well, maybe he did, but it would have been interesting to have a look at his reaction. I think something like this is present in the comic version of TESB, but unfortunately I haven't read it yet (will be the next omnibus I'm ordering).

Yeah, that always bothered me as well. I guess it would be just too awkward for the 'dark lord' to change his attitude all of a sudden. Besides I don't think 3po or R2 would even recognize him in that mask or even without the mask with his face burnt and everything. Well, I guess its time to read the comics then.

Beautiful work. Great use of light on a dark background really makes this piece atmospheric which gives it a fitting theme for its subjects. Nicely done
