General story: Started as an edgy OC that I made at the beginning of high school b/c Vivian was feeling more and more like a sorry excuse for a positive outlook to me. High school fucking sucks and things have definitely changed from middle school, where I at least had quite few good friends to look forward to seeing every day and the attitude all around the campus was somewhat tolerable. Now it's just some crazy kids who are lip-locking in the middle of the hallway like they're purposely trying to show everyone else how fucking disgusting passionate they are about each other. And personally, I wouldn't say that they're above doing just that. Oops, didn't mean to rant there.
Lapis can fly, but due to feeling more lonely and judged by others she purposely wraps her wing up to pretend that she is only capable of walking and to hide the scar, the reason behind the marks she feels regretful and frustrated about and tries to hide all the time. Now, for whatever reason anthro Lapis isn't as self-aware about the scar as feral Lapis and has a better time communicating with others.
To cope with her loneliness and dwindling self-confidence, she makes up an imaginary friend named Leo to keep herself somewhat sane, who tells her what she needs to hear just to get things done. Basically she's tricking herself into thinking that she's actually still got real friends.

Weapon info: (Exclusive to anthro form) Twin blue daggers with very dull gold edges. By swinging them through the air, timed attacks are set in the empty space. When triggered after setting them, slashes appear where each attack was set as if they were just carried out all at once. The slashes can be triggered anywhere between 4 to 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, they'll all automatically go off. Anthro Lapis carries them in her pocket as a form of self-defense; after all she does secretly dislike a lot of people.

Accessory info:

Scarf and medallion: Heavily inspired by Pit's scarf and medallion from KI:U. The gold swirls on the length of the material slowly change and move over time like clouds in the sky. The medallion's core is made out of lapis lazuli.

Bandage: A faded purple cloth wrapped around Lapis's right wing and held together with a small metal clip.

Additional notes:

Lapis doesn't have any claws on her forepaws; they're all chewed off because she's so stressed out all the time. Also part of the reason why her anthro form chooses to carry the daggers.

Color palette transition between feral and anthro:
  light teal scarf --> light teal hoodie
  gold swirls --> gold emblem
  lapis lazuli medallion --> blue star on hoodie
faded purple bandage --> faded purple yoga pants

Cancer constellation on the right side of her face; is her zodiac.

Since the scars are on the outside of her wing, they aren't visible in the anthro version of the picture, but nevertheless should map over from the example.

But anyway, I'm glad I finally have an official ref of her, haha~

Felt like "winged cat/dog/wolf" was too overused, and taking inspiration from an angel anyway I thought that I should just go with cat/angel. Judging by her mind, though, the ration of innocent:fucked up thoughts would most likely demote her to cat/demon lol
