Tails can do a lot more then any other 8 year old I know...(he has been referenced to be between 4 1/2 and 14 years old but it is generally accepted that he is 8 years old), surfing is no exception. Can you tell that it has been a while since I have seen a surf board? Maine has few surfers and Wisconsin has even fewer. His stance seems to be an 80's skate board move more then a surfing thing and I have no idea where he is supposed to stand on the board to balance it properly.

This drawing is a disappointment, I messed up his mouth about 10 times and still did not get it right, I was shooting for an aggressive/happy look; he just looks conflicted. He is leaning back when he should be leaning forward, and I can't draw a braking wave to save my life. I did like how his right hand blended into the water but his tails did not fair so well.
