Theses are more practice like previously posted; I am getting better but slowly. The 6th is almost an embarrassing drawing but I guess it has as much right to be in the scrap pile as the rest of them. I was rather surprised how difficult it is to figure out the correct shape of his head when his whiskers are not blocking his lack of a neck.

I am uncertain about the music choice for the final animated clip so I haven’t started a story board yet but I want to start the animation with Tails sitting down, then he jumps up and starts running. I want to show his progressive running style where he starts off clumsy, he picks up speed and his tails flap then when he is going full tilt his tails take over and his feet lift off. Somewhere in the story he is going to be working on his biplane so that I can work in an ending with him flying his biplane into the sunset. I need a song that is appropriate for Tails’ attitude: no swearing, no girls in his life, and a rather fast paced but upbeat tone. In order for my animation plans to work the song needs to have an intro at least 20 seconds before the lyrics and a similarly long ending without lyrics.

So far the plan is for Tails to be the only character in the animation but that could limit the music selection so I guess that decision will be made after the audio. He will defiantly be the focus of the work though.
