Description
The Indigo Disk is only a few short weeks away, and one of its big selling points is the fact that all of the starter Pokemon will be available in the update. Every. Single. One. (cue Lifelight) So to celebrate this expansion's imminent arrival, I decided to do another Pokemon tier list, this time with the starter Pokemon at each of their various stages. Each Pokemon stage is organized by type; each column is meant to be read strictly top-to-bottom and vice-versa. For example, the first three Pokemon at the top of the list are my favorite each of the first stage starters. This list will not take alternate forms (i.e. Mega Evolution or Hisuian forms) into account. Also, like with my Top 10% tier list, I'll have links to articles explaining my rankings here in the description.
All right! On with the show!
STAGE 1: Arguably the most iconic stage of any starter, as it's the stage we meet them in, the first stage is all about first impressions. They're always some of the cutest Pokemon out there.

STAGE 2: Or, as I like to call it, the awkward tween stage. This stage tends to be remembered the least out of every starter stage, and for good reason. The designs here are usually either the weakest in a line or the least memorable. It makes sense why, though: the first stage is how you meet your starter, while the last stage is how you remember them after your adventure. The middle stage is more of a transition point.
