Assignment 4 for intro. to illustration: design 5 circus character with the same technique. I chose to use ball point pen and graphite on bristol board, painted in photoshop. I have yet to revise this weekend, so i'm going to work on the white spots and colors of each character.
UPDATED: fixed some white areas, adding a little more detail, and spent more time coloring. switched the position of all characters.
I will swap the files when I have finished revising!

dang, zach, the resolution nearly killed my computer hahah. i think it would look more finished if the whole figure were colored. i also see you color on top of your drawing. why not sure overlay or multiply?

i know! it's so darn big. that's why i'm uploading each character by themselves. I'm tempted to see what it would look like, but i wanna keep it grey scale. I used overlay, lighten, darken...i don't know why it covers the detail. there really isn't that much detail on the clothing anyway.
