Personally I wasn't a huge fan I loved the characters, I just didn't like the movie they were in.
I hope you enjoy it when you see it though!

It's a watercolour. I used to love painting and kinda fell out with it when I discovered photoshop however many years ago. Started to pick it back up again though. I wish I had a decent set of markers I'd go crazy with them, just can't afford to buy any due to adult responsibilities >
Thanks for the watch though I appreciate it

i could never paint worth the combined loot of blackbeard and solomon, it's too messy and i have a physical writing disability, it's actually amazing i can draw at all, oh i feel you on the expense part, being an artist is an EXPENSIVE habit, i got lucky, uncle sam sent me a huge-ass SSI back pay check i went and bought a 24 piece prismacolor portrait marker set, and the list goes on and on, for linework do you use dip pen or those pigment pens?

Well at least you can draw
And I use a Pentel refill brush pen and and your bog standard Pilot pigment drawing pens

nice i've just recently been experimenting with using a brush with ink, japanese sumi ink had a REALLY potent black to it, not so good for line work but EXCELLENT for large empty spaces in my backgrounds due to never bothering to put in backgrounds haha, ink washing is pretty interesting had to do it as my final project in art 103 last semester

I might look into that sumi ink. Today I was filling it large spaces of black with whatever black tombow marker I had lying around and it gets a bit tedious. And I'm not a huge fan of the streaky pen mark look you get out of it.

you can get a huge-ass bottle of sumi ink at any SERIOUS art store not michael's but like the smaller SPECIFICALLY FOR ARTISTS stores. you can get india and china ink there too all not bad price wise at least the one i got to has good prices. for markers, it depends on what you want, the prismacolors come in two ways, both double sided, the one type has chisel tip on one end and fine point on the other, the other type is brush tip with fine on the other end, i use both along with crayola 50 pack markers and lots of sharpies haha

no problem man when it comes to art you GET what you PAY for, but do NOT get PROFESSIONAL markers at places like michael's they OVERCHARGE by like five bucks a pop. find an artist's and craftsman's type of store an ACTUAL art supply shop, they'll give you the right price and most of the time those kinds of places give discounts if you're an art student or teacher or professional and whutnot.
