welp this took a damn long time to get started on, over a month on this part done. my apologies for taking so long, SATs and more tests that they have been having us do. anyway to cut it short i gave a cameo to my friend TheFalconFighter . hope everyone likes ^^'

Lincoln looked at the pic in Benjamin's hand. "You sure that's him son? I mean, it coul...." "No...its him, I recognize him from that same night". Benjamin was enraged now. Evie went ahead and comforted him. Adam stayed quiet for a bit longer before speaking. "Now I know of one way we can avoid a war Lincoln", he said. "You know of Robert lee right". Lincoln had a confused look on his face. "One of our commanding officers. What about him", "he's from Virginia right? One of the state's seceding right now. If he can agree this is a bad idea, maybe he can stop the rest of the state's from fighting". Lincoln thought about it, and nodded his head. "Very well.....go ahead and talk to him, and take Benjamin with you". Benjamin looked up, feeling a bit calm, but also angry. Him, Adam, and Evie left the room to take a train to Virgina.

Benjamin gave Adam and Evie a dirty look. "How long have you guys known about him? How long were you planning to keep it from me. Why did you hide it from me". Adam raised his hand, in order to hush Benjamin. "First of all we did it for your safety. Had we told you sooner you would've gone after him, and possibly gotten yourself killed. And we've known it for years, right after I recruited you did I learn he survived. And lastly we chose that moment to tell you. Do you understand". Benjamin slowly nodded. Evie sighed, "im sorry Benjamin, I meant to tell you", "you're fine, just don't keep secrets from me please". Adam and Evie nodded. "Now we just need to convince commander Lee to not turn on Lincoln, then there's a likely chance we can avoid battle. Do you think you can meet with him Benjamin?". Benjamin nodded. "I can do that, but first I need to send a few messages".

He got to a telegram station. "I have to send a few messages to Detroit, can I use this please". The operator nodded and let Benjamin use it. "To Jamie, Rose, and Tom, I need you three to come out here, we are in some likely trouble. Take a train to Virginia, I'll be there". He finished his message, and went off to find Lee.

After a few day trip, he made it to Virginia, Where Lee was waiting for him at the state's hall. Benjamin walked up to him and greeted him. "You must be Brasure's boy right?" Lee said. "Yes sir, President Lincoln sent me here. See if we could negotiate about what to do". They walked down the hallway, while some whom passed by gave Benjamin a weird look. "Anyway, I just wanna know what's your stand on this act?" "Tbh kid I didn't have a lot of thought on it. A lot of the folks around here have really been wanting to break away from the Union ever since this started in the '50s". Benjamin now had a concerned look. "But.....don't you think it would be better to side with Lincoln. I mean people are gonna die if we go to war". Lee shook his head, "some of these folks would rather die than to live to be under control", "sir half of your people down here are slaves working day and night. That isn't exactly freedom for everyone", "oh please, they aren't meant to have control, unlike the us Dominant ones". Benjamin gave him a dirty look. "Really now sir, do you even hear what you're saying? Seriously think of this". Lee sighed, "I'll only go with the confederates if my state seceded from the union". Benjamin nodded and sighed. "Very well sir, and if you do, I promise I'll see Ya again". They shook hands and separated, Benjamin only walked 30 feet away from Lee when he heard a soldier say to Lee: "Mr. William is waiting for Ya sir"
