finally got the final part of chapter 3 done XD. we get the start of what this whole story is set in lol. so yeah heh, sorry this took awhile, ive been feeling a bit stressed with school, so im not able to do alot of art lol. i hope ya guys like this ^^ sorry if this is short lol.

(April 11th1861 fort Sumter.)

Benjamin was packing his stuff, getting what he needed for the sneak attack. "Let's see: smoke bombs, Edison's grenades, Sword and tomahawk, revolver, throwing knives. I got what I need", he said storing his weapons. Evie walked in, checking the rig on her hidden blade. "Gonna be a busy day. Once we're inside we just wait TIL past midnight to strike", she said, as she finished getting herself together. "We get only one shot at this. So let have it done on our first try".

(Hours later, midnight)

Benjamin and Evie were outside the fort, hidden in some bushes waiting. Eventually they climb in. "I'll distract the troops, you find Joseph", Evie whispered before heading her way. Benjamin got in, and snuck through....silently killing any guard that could've noticed him. Using his eagle vision, he looked for his target........whom was eventually found with two of his soldiers, wearing outfits that aren't colors of the regular stuff. "Are the rest of my regiment on the way here", Croft asked his troops. "Yes commander, they'll be hear any minute", the troops replied. "Good, once they attack here......this will be a start to a revolution. Now git", Croft finished, shooing the troops away. Benjamin stalked from a distance.....waiting for an opportunity. He eventually stopped.....and was about to take a smoke. Ben sprung from his hiding place and charged at him. Croft jumped. "Who the hell are y..." Benjamin kicked him before he finished, knocking him down. Then he jumped on top of him, and stabbed him with his hidden blade.

Croft lay dying. "Your plot is foiled", Benjamin said. Croft laughed....while coughing blood. "Really Assassin.....my plan is set into motion....my brothers will be happy that everything is set", he said. Benjamin brought him to his face. "What do you mean". "My regiment has been given to the Templars. And soon it'll be a bigger army after this......you'll be praying you never came....", he coughed up. "Rest in peace" Benjamin said, as Croft stopped breathing. Benjamin took the handkerchief and wiped the blood on his targets neck.

His target was dead. Ben was about to leave........until he heard gun shots. Evie came running into the room. "WE GOT COMPANY BENJAMIN", She said taking out her Melee. The next thing Benjamin knew, more soldiers in the new outfits came running in. He drew his sword and began fighting the attacking soldiers. It was large number....must've been 15 soldiers. By the time they were all down, Benjamin was panting hard, his robes covered in blood. Evie was in a similar condition, and looked outside the fort. "Oh fucking hell, there's more. We gotta get out of here", she said turning to go. Benjamin was about to run as well, when a few soldiers whom got in shot at a nearby stash of gun powder. It exploded......and was spreading fast. "RUN!!!" Evie screamed, as she and Benjamin began charging through the now burning fort. Each stash they passed, another explosion. Benjamin didnt stop, he just kept his eyes ahead, not looking back. Finally the entrance to the fort was in sight. Evie and Benjamin burst out of the fort, in soot, and ash. Benjamin panted hard. "We....we....we made it.....that's....good". Evie though.....was anything but happy. Her eyes were fixed on the burning fort. "I don't think it's good........I think they've just started a war..."
