By the late 2360's Starfleet realized that it will need a new generation of larger carriers. The only two existing Nimitz and Tirpitz were built in small numbers and those ships were essentially upgraded versions of existing ships. Project Concorde start in 2370 by the late 2375 first ship USS Concorde would be launched. Class have new unique design and was one of two largest classes built (other been Excalibur). New super carrier or as it will later be named command starcarrier could carry total of 144 fighters altough this could easly be upgraded to 180, around 12 to 14 runabouts and 20 shuttles. However massive and expensive Starfleet would later continue to build akira, Nakota and Falkirk class, as well improved variants of Typhon class thus production would stop on Concorde after only seven ships built. Concorde class would often be untilized by admirals and would be in center of battlegroups. Single ship would participate in Odonan war (2380-2382). Class despite having short construction period and only having seven ships in class, would remain in service well into 25th century.

Ship also carry impressive arsenal of twelve Type X phaser arrays, and tree photon-quantum torpedo tubes and it will carry most advanced shield system available.
