Very nice drawings! I love how you incorporate the use of different materials like the white ink and conte (or whatever that might happen to be). Just totally loving the ink you have! Would love to see more line drawing instead of gesture, but your gesture work is nonetheless very beautiful! You could use more practice on the human face, and I highly recommend practicing drawing human features in realism. I personally love to draw eyes in realism, I find it very relaxing. Try drawing your face or a friends face in realism for practice, I guarantee you'll be glad to get it down now.

hehe yeah I need more practice, the professor gets mad if I focus on the face in class though, so I'll have to just do it on my own time... xD Thanks muchly though for the crit!

I actually got a really useful booklet from a college fair from CalArts that tells you how to maintain and keep a great portfolio

We have three regular models, mostly this one fantastic model who's also an illustrator, and gives me tons of tips during the time we're given to look at everyone's art. x)

The craziest thing that ever happened to me was one of the women we only saw once was the girl who dated my ex right after I did... talk about awkward! lmao. She turned out to be super nice and making side cash for her own art schooling and was also no longer with dude so we spent the time making fun of him lol!
