Look. Look at this. No, NO, just... LOOK. Alright? Pay attention. Yes, you heard me, pay attention! This... HEY!! Alright. This... Is an idea I had for a Flash cartoon [I have Flash now], or, rather, just an idea for the series of Legend of Zelda in particular.

See, as the title of the image says, the name of it would be "The Legend of Zelda: Hylian Metropolis." It would be set eons into the future, still the same world as LoZ, but the setting would be vastly different...

First of all, as the name suggests, the world is a technological metropolis. Flying cars, laser weaponry, and skyscrapers poking God RIGHT there in the eye. That's how tall they are. Hyrule is no longer a kingdom in the same sense as the old games; now, it's a religious sanctuary that is safeguarded from all public contact, sans a few priests and caretakers of the sacred land. Link is a mercenary for hire, and, unbeknownst to him, he is also the legendary Hero of Time. What else he doesn't know is that the head of the largest weapons corporation on the planet is planning a takeover of the world, as well as breaking into Hyrule itself, in an attempt to gain lost relics of the past and what power they may hold. Guess who would be Mr. Big, in a sense? That's right, Ganondorf [although he's listed as Ganon in the picture]. Link is hired to take care of a hostile situation inside the building [hired by Ganon himself] thanks to a whole bunch of dogooders who think they can actually take on the corporation itself from the inside. However, when he meets up with a woman with strange training, similar to that of the legendary Sheikah, he finds that he's been kinda tugged around in the wrong direction. Link doesn't much care, being a mercenary and all. This woman tells him just a hint of his destiny, that a legendary weapon may be acquired if Link simply listen close... Of course, this woman reveals to Link that her codename is Sheik [you can see where I'm going with this]. She's part of a secret organization that is the only prevention to further corruption of an already dark and terrible world. Link, of course, wants some better weapons, and a legendary weapon may just do the trick to get him hired for a much higher price. And so the quest to defeat the evil corporate giant begins...

Just to fill in some areas: Epona is not a horse. It's the latest model in cyclical vehicles, aka... motorcycles. Farore, Nayru, and Din are supposedly hacker names, the only three that could ever break through Ganon's defense systems. The Master Sword... Well, it's still the Master Sword, as it has always been. Its uses, however... Imagine the Master Sword as an abundant source of energy. Now place that energy into a molecular cannon that takes that energy and fires it as a giant holy beam of light.

Pretty nifty, huh?

I don't know, I'd really like to make this into some really huge, cool project... It'd be sweet, but there's a little sna[coughcoughpyrightwheezecough]g. I needn't spare you the details.
