This is something I drew up in about two minutes. Yes, I realize my pics have made an odd degradation of quality, but fuggit. This is my stand against furry-bashers who've got it all wrong. No, I'm not assertive, just a bit ticked that people make these sort of judgements that all "furries" are beastial.And yes, we -do- have MTV to thank for the large amount of resilience toward the furry fandom.

You know I played a game called furcadia, and in the teen to adult area there are a bunch of people who sit around with custom furry pictures that must have cost them 10-20$ and they bash anyone who trys to talk to them and call them furfags... Its a game meant for furrys and a bunch of people got together just to sit online 20 hours a day to spam the word furfags.

There's always a group of 'em in every society. Sometimes, furries annoy me pretty bad, but nothing I've seen warrants full-on hatred of an entire community.

Eh, violence doesn't really solve much, unfortunately. Calling someone an animal ****er is basically like calling someone a child molester; it's such an outrageous statement that it's hard to be taken seriously when it's coming from a stranger.
I'm mostly just against the militant anti's... then again, I'm against MOST militant anti's, as well as militant pro's, since, by and large, they all resort to violence and name-calling.

Yeah, the way that I took wasn't the best, but heck it calmed me down and that was great! So yeah. Violence doesn't solve much, but at times it is a good stress realiver!

I'm not a furry myself... I've drawn the stuff in the past [still do, on rare occasion], and I had an interest in the community. But the bad rap that most furries get is entirely unwarranted. I just don't... GET it.

They ran a "Sex Life" episode on the Furry subculture, specifically pointing out some of the freakiest parts of that culture. Essentially, a lot of facts were completely skewed, and they only really ever spoke to the people who liked to paint themselves up or wear costumes attributing to their favorite animal and have sex while wearing them. It also helped staple the homosexuality tag that Furries have been stuck with for a while, too.

I like this picture.
But sadly... i do not like most furries.
When it comes to drawing, painting ect. I like to see a variety. If people draw ONLY furries, I get annoyed.... just as I'd get annoyed with someone who ONLY draws JTHM fan art, Or DBZ characters, or sheep.
