I often wondered what would happen to the relationship between Kagome and InuYasha, if suddenly the rosary around IY's neck were no longer an issue. I read a marvelous fic centering on this very subject, and the results I believe were very in-character. InuYasha temporarily turns into a complete ass, as he's more of an "act first, think later" type, and manages to royally screw with his standing in Kagome's eyes.Misunderstandings and threats abound, and gradually, IY realizes what he's done, and is desperate to make things go back to the way they were. He's used to being trusted, and after some of the stunts he's recently pulled, that aspect has been severely damaged. He doesn't realize that Kagome isn't that weak in faith, though she'd have every right to be, but he offers her another rosary to put around his neck. In his simple and honest mind, he's hoping that doing so will repair the damage done. Needless to say, the precious symbolism of the gift isn't lost on Kagome.

The story is called "Broken," and the author's pen-name at the time was called "Quickening." I'm not sure if the story is still there; I heard it might have been taken down. *shrug* Good luck!

did you know in one of the movies the rosary breaks off?
I'm sure i saw that, i dont know which movie it was anymore tough... but in the end kagome puts it back together and puts it back on him *he naivily falls for a silly trick... it's cute haha*

some guy complained about it, he said it was all bad and mean and inu should leave and stuff but i dont think it was like that at all, that guy as issues...XD
It wasn't a lack of trust if you ask me, kagome doesn't usually abuse her power over him, and with out her magic collar she can't do much about him when he goes over some edge of cruelty, meaness or demonic or something.
They were just not ready to trust each other with out it, and the serie wasn't over either sooo XD it was just a movie you know? XD

Thank you very much! This is still my favorite IY pic to date, because I really like the look in his eyes; they're exactly what I was trying to do, which is so very rare for me. ^^ I think the simplicity helps too....I often overdo pics.

My so-called writing skills leave much to be desired, so I'm happy when people like what I've done. ^_^ This is also one of my favorite renderings of our fave puppy-boy...I like how he came out; especially his eyes. The scene that this came from, was so powerful for me, that this just sorta jumped out of my brain, grabbed my hand, and said "YOU WILL DRAW THIS RIGHT NOW!"

Being an Inuyasha fan myself, and pretty much interested in trying to understand dog-boy's psychology, I can say that you have really done a good job expressing Inuyasha's repentance/regret/hope through this sketch. ^^ I love what you did with pencils, and the way the face is drawn (the expression! Subtle, yet powerful! ^^) NOW I can feel like I have properly paid you the attention you deserve, and not just casually gone and clicked on the fav button...
