Heh, well this is one of those things that just seemed better in my head. XD I think I just managed to make it confusing.
This is another illustration based on the Transformers story, "Small Problems," a wonderful piece by the talented *Ty-Chou , also known as "Ghost of the Dawn" on Fanfiction.net. You can find her story here... ---> [link]
This comic is loosely based on a scene that took place in the story...with a few changes done. XD Sorry, Ty-chou, my brain got away from me. XD Who knew Crystal was so good at climbing shower curtains? Certainly not I.
Poor Crystal, she's as arachnophobic as I am. Wheeljack is trying to tell the poor girl that the spider he's holding won't harm her, but she ain't comin' down from that curtain rod until he's gone. XD I don't blame her; I wouldn't trust him either. *laughs*
I hope the speech bubbles aren't too confusing...I tried to make them as distinct as I could, but as you can tell, I'm not a comic artist.

Being a bit of an arachnophobe myself, my brain does not care about the fact that the spider is probably harmless or only a fraction of my size; that's why some phobias can be sometimes termed as "irrational."
Wheeljack is probably as fascinated by Crystal's reaction as he is by the spider. XD

Eh, I'm weird when it comes to spiders; if they're smaller than a dime, I don't mind them crawling around, but if they're bigger than that, I want them out of my personal space. I try not to squish 'em though; I have jars in each room to catch errant spiders. XD
Ew...cockroaches give me the serious jibblies. They're so freaking FAST; we used to get Malaysian cockroaches in crates all the time at the area I used to work. XD

Haha. Yeah, I totally agree with you about the speedy cockroaches. So creepy! Actually, now that you mention it, anything that's longer than an inch with more than four legs scares the living daylights out of me. XD

i like looking at this over and over again. i like spiders. I had one crawling on my arm yesterday.
my sister now she hates spiders. she hollers for me to come and get them. the only spiders i don't like are black widows and brown recluses. they are so poisonous

Hahah, I'm very particular about spiders. The little bitty guys, regardless of where they are, are fine with me; I'll even forgive them if they invade my personal space. However, once they get bigger than say, a quarter, things get a bit shaky. if they're up on my wall or ceiling, I'll leave them alone, but once they get down to where I can reach them, or god forbid, actually crawl onto me, then all bets are off.
If they're huge like a wolf spider or a poisonous variety, once they enter my house, they're goners.

have you seen water spiders? they are BIG spiders. they are fast too. i was trying to catch one, one day but i really couldn't because it was going back and forth fast. Somehow i caught it and crushed it in a Kleenex.

Really? They're quite common pretty much everywhere. They can be aggressive little buggers, though they're not particularly dangerous. They're QUICK too. XP
