Heh, well this is one of those things that just seemed better in my head. XD I think I just managed to make it confusing.
This is another illustration based on the Transformers story, "Small Problems," a wonderful piece by the talented *Ty-Chou , also known as "Ghost of the Dawn" on Fanfiction.net. You can find her story here... ---> [link]
This comic is loosely based on a scene that took place in the story...with a few changes done. XD Sorry, Ty-chou, my brain got away from me. XD Who knew Crystal was so good at climbing shower curtains? Certainly not I.
Poor Crystal, she's as arachnophobic as I am. Wheeljack is trying to tell the poor girl that the spider he's holding won't harm her, but she ain't comin' down from that curtain rod until he's gone. XD I don't blame her; I wouldn't trust him either. *laughs*
I hope the speech bubbles aren't too confusing...I tried to make them as distinct as I could, but as you can tell, I'm not a comic artist.

I love it. I love the way you managed to make Wheeljack look completely curious while gazing up at Crystal, and the speech bubbles were perfect. Especially the little "Crystal faces" in the bubbles with her talking.
Sorry, Wheeljack, phobias defy logic at all turns. You did a wonderful job and are too hard on yourself. ^^

Heheheh, yeah, Wheeljack really is too curious for his own good, you know? Especially in this fic; it's a wonder Crystal didn't send him flying on a couple of occasions. XD
Hee, well I put those faces in there to try and create even more of a distinction between Wheeljack's bubbles and Crystal's. ^^ That, and I love making the outlandish expressions. XD
Exactly. Big spider = Zanne Freak Out. Do not pass Go, do not collect 200 frickin' dollars. Just get the hell out of my way or get run over. XD
Heh, well when I look at a piece for long enough, it ceases making sense to me, so I'm glad when people "get it." ^__^

Heheheh...cockroaches are only slightly less nasty to me than spiders. ^^ Any cockroaches of note in Japan? I know you guys have some REALLY creepy-looking (but neat too) spiders over there.
*cackle* Nope, Wheeljack just doesn't understand how Crystal can be afraid of something so much smaller than she is, especially when it's not poisonous. XD Prowl can't really understand her, either, but he tries. *laughs* Not to worry; after Crystal shrieks at Prowl to get his tiny aft in there, he escorts Wheeljack out the front door, to release the spider properly. No spiders were harmed in the making of this picture!

*cackle* Oh I didn't say I LIKED them, just that my arachnophobia takes first seat to anything else.
Heheheh, how about the ones that hiss at you? THOSE are freaky. The Malaysian ones aren't too tiny either; we get some now and then from crates at work. Little buggers are FAST.

*cackle* Thanks! Poor Wheeljack; he tries his best to educate the "ignorant masses," but I don't think they always appreciate it. 
Heehee, not to worry; Prowl arrives shortly and escorts Wheeljack (and the clueless spider) outside so the engineer can release it. Probably not before studying it from spinneret to pedipalp though

He's really hard to draw at first, but now that I've drawn him so many times it's rather easy for me. Just takes alot of practice.

Heh, I think it's his chest and feet that give me the most grief. XD His vocal indicators and triple mohawk are just plain fun to do. XD I think it's partially because he's so unusual with his proportions. Oddly enough, I find mechs like Optimus Prime easier to do.

*cackle* I think Wheeljack would probably be more inclined to be sympathetic to the spider's plight; I don't see him as being the "dissecting in the name of science" type as much as I do Perceptor. ^^

LOL That is EXACTLY where I would be. No worries, it made perfect sense to me. And I remember that part of the story! That has got to be one of THE best Transformer fics I've ever read.
.... Okay, so it's the ONLY Transformer fic I've ever read, but it was still quite awesome (and I've got the author on alert for updates of the sequel. keh heh heh).

Oh me too. I've been dive-bombed, ninja'd, and overall harrassed by more huge spiders than I can possibly count. I leave them alone if they're not in my personal space, but once any of them start infiltrating my bedroom or bathroom, that's it. I don't need them crawling all over me while I'm trying to sleep or in the shower. XP
Worst of all is having one bungee jump onto your face while you're on the toilet. *raises hand* Happened to me. Wasn't pretty.

worst incident was when i was putting away groceries and my husband tells me, "Don't freak out, but there's a spider next to your foot." I look down and there's a huge f***ing wood spider an inch and a half (literally!!!) from my bare foot!!

Reminds me of the one that fell onto my shoulder as I was at the computer at my grandparents' house. It made an audible "thump" when it hit, and I could feel it through my sweatshirt. Thing was about the diameter of my palm, and I ended up dancing a spastic jig while frantically dropping f-bombs and trying to scrape the hairy bastard off my shoulder. XD
