I love it. Even when Mickey Mouse and his friends represent something I love, I can't stand for letting their trademark handlers act against my principles.

To all the Obama sheep supporters: this was instituted by him via an executive order that bypasses congress or any voting at all. Transparency you can count on. Change you can trust.
Also there is only one presidential candidate that even openly denounces ACTA along with NDAA and the Patriot Act. Guess who that is?? Take a wild guess.

The people who thought of SOPA,PIPA,and ACTA are dumb asses that will go to the ninth circle of Hell.
If you use an image copyrighted by SOPA,won't SOPA just black itself out?

All the acts pretty much ruin the concept of the internet itself, the government is just trying to null down and control the media and the environment now. Being protective is good and all, out ACTA is ridiculous.

I agree. Politicians don't usually understand the basic unbreakable laws of this world, no matter if they went to law school for twenty years. EVERYTHING COMES WITH A PRICE. Look how much the internet has done to make a positive or even neutral difference in the world. We are able to share knowledge like never before. People share advice, talk, play, blog and learn on the internet. We share art, beauty, goods, and ways of thinking. The internet was built by the people. There happen to be bad people in the world. It is like throwing away a whole clump of grapes when only a few are bad. We haven't found a way to make the bad people understand the results of their actions. We can't control them. With this plan, hundreds or more pages could be erased because one is suspected of fraud or some such. The web belongs to the people, not the companies with the most money. People are telling the government in a thousand different ways that we do not want this, some nicer than others. The web belongs to the people, not the government, no matter how much they want it. So, YAY TO THE PEOPLE!

Exactly! Everything you do is going to affect another person, whether you like it or not, and unfortunately not everyone understands that. Being artists ourselves, that's what it's all about and what we are striving for: freedom, unity, and becoming closer to the god within. The internet is a plus because it is supposed to help people. Obviously, money is important, but when it comes to businesses and our government, it's the new media and the target audience. That's all they really think about: money, work, success, and control.
From stories of living itself, people are usually good at the heart, but when they cannot handle the reality of pain and sadness in the world, even traumas from sometime in their lifetime, it really can turn someone into a nasty person.

Woah, chill out with all this DEATH and DYING and KILLING and HATING stuff, of course you can disagree. I disagree with SOPA and all that. I think it's crap, but I'm not going to go on rages about it. That won't solve anything. It only lowers you to their level, in different fields. If you know what I mean. They want control, and you're out of control. But uh, yeah, I agree with you guys on the basic idea of all this.
But at the same time, I'd really glad to see we have some humanity left.

One hundred percent agreed!! ACTA needs to go down. And while it might have already passed in different places, there has to be a way to repeal it.
