Description
Rachel Leighton became a criminal at a young age, joining the Serpent Society as Diamondback. After meeting each other during a series of battles and adventures she became infatuated with Captain America, and her conflicting loyalties led to her being kicked out of the Serpent Society. Her rocky relationship with the Captain leads to her slowly reforming into a reluctant hero, though she continues to dabble in mercenary work. When Norman Osborn took power of USA security, Diamondback agreed to work for him as an instructor at the Avengers Initiative training camp. Here she began a relationship with fellow reformed criminal Constrictor, and also joined the secret resistance against Osborn. During the final battle when Osborn attempted to conquer Asgard she and Constrictor were seperated and she joined Captain America's forces. Believing she had left him to go back to her first love, a disheartened Constrictor fled the battle and returned to his mercenary work.
