Description
As a young boy Cain Marko relentlessly bullied his stepbrother, Charles Xavier, especially after discovering the latter was a mutant. While serving in the US Army together they discovered some ancient ruins, and Cain found the ruby that channel the power of the evil deity Cyttorak into him, transforming him into the unstoppable Juggernaut. The transformation caused the ruins to collapse on Cain, with Xavier barely escaping himself. Thinking his stepbrother had abandoned him, Cain would eventually escape the ruins and seek out his revenge.

After causing much havoc and mayhem, Cain eventually began to get in touch with his better nature and started to work alongside heroes more, eventually even reconciling with Xavier. Cyttorak's power is meant for evil deeds however, and the Juggernaut's unmatched strength and resiliency is reduced considerably when Cain decides to stand up for what's right.
