I just got this idea and had to paint it out of my system. It's really been too long since I drew Drizzt.
As simple as this is, I'm really happy with this pic. ^^

You know I think Artemis Entreri always kind had a man crush on Drizzt. His obsession was a bit more then just to see who was the better. Though I highly doubt Drizzt's feelings would be mutual. Then again I am biest cause I am Drizzt and Cat-brie fan

I quite like this - I've only managed to get hold of the first 3 books in this series, unfortunately, and I read them a good 5 years ago now, so I'm not entirely sure on who Artemis is. However, I like how you've got them caring for each others' wounds

I'm glad you like it. ^_^ Artemis is Drizzt' arch-enemy, but Drizzt always seems very reluctant to fight with him.
Knowing Drizzt's sweet and caring nature, I can see him at least thinking this was possible, if not exactly canon.

Plus, this picture is 7 years old, so it's not that good. I still like the subject, and art is shit only if it raises no emotions, so I'm happy I made you mad.

yeah well Rob Salvatore wouldn't know good art if it slaughtered all his children, that guy backs the most horrendous accssories and art for his stories. I thought I gave a reason why I didn't like it. It's not that it made me mad, it's that it's the same old tired gay tripe from some adolescent-minded sexually stunted quadrant of these increasingly weirdo generations, the proportions are bad and the lighting is nothing to speak of, the subject matter is more nuetral and lame than maddening or pointful, idn't it? Anyways, I don't care if it's seven years old, this sort of shit comes up in a search Today when people are looking for pics of Drizzt. I don't wanna ruin your mood, I just don't need to jump on the ultra positive awesome new age bandwagon where only positive feedback exists. This is an abomination of the literature. This would never happen so why draw it? Yaoi is a term for female-oriented fictional media that focus on homoerotic or homoromantic male relationships, so yes it is yaoi. WHY do fangirls always want to do lame unbelievable pairings of enemies?

First thing: This is not yaoi. Do not start this argument with a person who has given lectures about yaoi in conventions. this is a picture of two man patching each other up. At the most it can be considered shounen-ai. It would be yaoi only if they were both naked and on top of each other. (and I save those pictures to other sites)
Second thing: Mister Salvatore has seen my art and had nothing bad to say about it, so as long as he is not disturbed by it, I keep drawing what I feel like. Artistic Freedom.
Third thing: Why I do draw pictures like this? Answer: Because of comments like yours. Every comment like yours inspires me to draw another picture like this. So thank you for the inspiration, haha

I think it's adorable. I see it as a very deep depiction. If, for one minute, we can push aside our trespasses against each other, and learn to just hug, then maybe the world will be able to love.
I think Drizzt would allow this. Not in a gay-love-yaoi sort of way. He would give Artemis enough respect to allow him to patch him up, a little, and then... probably expect that infamous jeweled dagger to enter his back along the way.
