I just really love the idea of Alphys being coldblooded and needing heat sources, don't mind me.Edit - A dub!

actually... logic might still apply, here, y'know? it could be that just the climate might not be enough for her...
think about it: hotland is hot but frisk doesn't seem bothered by it so it's likely human friendly temperature, even on the surface cold blooded creatures sit on rocks that have been under the sun for hours because those give off a higher temperature than the simple air around them.... ever tried to sit on a rocky shore that's been hours under the sun, with shorts or without pants? yikes! ...think of it like the difference between hovering your hand over a pot of boiling water and actually sticking it in (not an exact comparison, but bear with me for the sake of example).

Alphys and Undyne can both have boobs; they're monsters after all, and monsters can be mixes of various life forms or have mixed characteristics. They're not animals, it's just that some share components with certain animals sometimes.
