I never really thought about it before, but when you write it all out like that, Sans sounds super nuts. I know he's right, but this is like tinfoil-level conspiracy thinking.

heh, my own theory that i just made up - flowey also did resets, and he also talked with papyrus.
obviously sans and papyrus' relationship right now is really rough, but sans remembers the resets, he'll be able to know how to apologize to papyrus properly.
so maybe sans is just neutral about flowey because he sort of rekindled their relations with each other and he's grateful for that, even though flowey does kill everyone in timelines. sans knows that flowey will always reload eventually, which leads to frisk eventually falling down when flowey did his own "pacifist" timeline when he wanted to, which is when frisk's determination begins to overtake flowey's determination.
but another possibility is that the brothers to eventually rekindle, considering that sans is wearing his "canon" appearance, meaning it's slowly getting closer to frisk's time.

when frisk questions the battle body, sans said they made it for (i think) a costume party a few weeks before you came in the underground

The past day and a half I just read from the beginning to here. and BOY OH BOY HAS IT BEEN A WILD RIDE OR WHAT?!
anyways, Zarla, You do and amazing job with these and I LOVE how even though this is a fan comic, and we can't TECHNICALLY say it's canon, it FEELS canon because the characters are true to themselves, just about everything in game is being explained and accounted for, and I LOVE this comic series. If you sold this as an actual comic book when you finishes, I WOULD BUY IT.

I like that this is the process of how Sans went from snarky skelly too smart for his own good to secretly saddened still snarky skelly that was way too smart for his own good, and here's his slow descent to quiet insanity and serious depression over the reality of his world.

I think if the timeline did reset, they might recall that they were arguing but not about what. then again Flowey did have knowledge of the argument before we did, so who knows.
