Oh yeah, eyeglowing for a skele is a comforting gesture , I forgot that it's been a long time since we've seen someone glow , haha.

Dear lor...poor Gaster. I'm not sure I even want to know what's he's being put through. At the same time, morbid curiosity has me wondering...
I see among all the "it hurts" text there's also a very small "help me."
Is Gaster somehow contacting Asgore through a dream?

I can't find where it says "help me" but I do see a "please" and a few "no"s.

As for the "help me," it's in the upper right corner of the first panel of screaming text. The words are fairly small, and understandably, could be easy to miss.

Dude, I love all your Handplates comics, but this one is my favorite. It's SO creepy. Plays out just like a really good horror movie - not one with cheap jump scares, but a steadily increasing sense of things being terribly wrong.
I might have nightmares tonight. And I sure as hell hope I don't wake up to Papyrus trying to comfort me. I applaud you for turning the most lovable and un-intimidating character into even further nightmare fuel.
Please keep up the writing/illustrating, you have incredible talent. Whether it's a pre-existing fandom or an entirely new creation, you've got an audience in me.

Anyone notice that near the end of Asgore’s nightmare the tea that is in his cup starts to spill: but that tea looks kinda like blood? It’s kinda creepy. Maybe I’m just seeing things. Maybe not.

I don't think it necessarily means blood. But it certaintly adds to the creepyness. It shows something munane that is ever so slightly out of order so your mind tells you that it's not right.

i thought the same. considering Asgore was thinking about "the children/my children" (presumably Asriel and Chara and not Sans and Papyrus, even though that was likely who invisi-Gaster was referring to), it wouldnt surprise me if it was blood since they, more specifically Asriel, died in a brutal fashion (Chara literally suffered as they slowly died from [self-]poisoning and Asriel was outright murdered). if it is tea, zarla made the lighting perfect to the point the tea looked like blood, which is a very nice touch and adds to the creepy/sad factor of Asgore's dream

I mean...It's not like this comic was ever some silly rom-com or anything, but I think Papyrus sitting on the floor, staring at Asgore while he sleeps and then saying "don't worry, its not real. It's okay" (I read that in a creepy monotone voice frankly) officially brings this into horror movie territory.
I can't be the only one who's thinking this. Demon Child!Papyrus is gonna kill ya! Leave tiny Satan!
Still love the series though. It's always a bright spot in my day when I see something with your name in my notification inbox. Even when it involves creepy demon children and spooky nightmares.
