I wonder about where Alphys and Gaster got their doctorates. Like is there a monster university somewhere, or did the King and Queen give it to them, or did they find it in the garbage or steal it off a human's body, who knows.

To be fair, certain enemies in the game have healing bullets that are the same color as the bone he threw, so presumably they were paying enough attention to realize that he was legitimately healing the dude.
