This one isn't directly connected to anything, but it'd fall at least after the whole eye business , and becomes rather poignant after Sans learns to heal . As always you can get a better sense of where it is chronologically by looking at it in the index .
This is probably the most civil these two have been to each other so far. The next couple may be more Sans-focused since he hasn't had much to do in this whole shebang just yet, haha.
I totally would have called this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ if dev allowed it.

Oh i get it!
When Gaster made them, he tried to make them out of one big physical form. But he didn't get the sizes right, he must have rushed it. Making Papyrus the bigger one because that's how they came out from the physical form he had. Even though Sans was the first one made, him being like a prototype before Gaster made Papyrus.

This metaphor killed me when I first read it. It's been so long since then, but whenever I think of strong storytelling points, this comes to mind. Splitting the paper in half. jesus. Your comic continues to inspire.

So wait they were together as one being at one point. Could it be at one point they’re one and the same child but it tried splitting them into two different beings to try and get do overs if one dies. It kind of makes sense in my POV. Papyrus is very emotional unlike sans who is more on the mediocre level. Sans is very intelligent while Papyrus is not as much. It’s like left brain and right brain. It would make sense to why they both appear to be similar in age and why WD at the beginning was exclaiming how they were alive. Or it could just be genetics and they were twins or something. Wait shoot I don’t got a HUMEROUS bone joke dangit

They were together as him, if that makes sense. The togetherness was Gaster, and the separation was cutting out pieces of his hands to then make them. At least, that’s what I believe.
