I'm not expecting anything. To be exact, I'm not even into these comics. However they keep popping up on the main page and I was wondering after reading a couple of them, if this is actually based on some aspects from the game or
it is purely made up. I don't necessarily think that'd be a bad thing (again I don't really care). I was just curious. I'm no one to spoil the fun but my inner critic just wanted to see if there's some credibilty to these cartoons that isn't just ''well it could have happened some time in the past''. Just because it's a fan comic, doesn't mean it can't be believable. That was just my first (and second) impression.

Well, it is one of those "it could have happened in the past" fan comics because nobody knows the actual history of Sans and Papyrus. The only thing the fandom knows is that they both have some sort of connection to Gaster. So this is based on those speculations that the skelebros are literally the "pieces" of Gaster that are mentioned in the game. That's all. She is using the concepts from the game and what she already knows about the characters to create a backstory for them, so it's not just random. It may be made up but that doesn't mean it's unbelievable. For all weΒ know, this could be very close to the truth. The only one that knows is the creator of Undertale himself, so nothing that isn't canon is going to be truly credible.Β

I never said it was random. But what we've established now is basically: It's simply a possible thing. You said yourself she created it. She didn't adapt it. There's no actual hint to their behaviour in the game, that's what I was curious about in the first place. Don't get it twisted though. I agree, it is believable, however it's not really logical as well. That's what makes this a fan project I believe.

What I meant by ''logic'' is not the fact that it's obviously a fantasy world. Only a moron would question logic in something that features talking skeletons and a human-size goat king. I was just asking (like I said numerous times) if there was some backstory that explained their behavior. Zarla herself made a perfectly nice comment, stating it's somehow a prequel to it. Still, I was curious if there was more to it than just that. But maybe I was a little too keen on the whole subject, it made me look like a naggy old adult. But I do know now, thanks to your multiple clarifications: It's just fan work. Thanks. And again, there's nothing wrong with it, just like what ever you want to, I have own fan projects to like. You know i'd love to see if he ever did a somewhat similar test on them, Like it's basically where you give a kid a toy after explaining it's a precious toy to whoever adult is giving it and it's designed to break as soon as they touch it so it's to test the affects of Guilt by having the adult after it breaks stare sadly at the toy and then the child for a full minute

I think I saw this on TV once but they used pieces of chocolate instead of marshmallows. I laughed hard when one kid, without using his hands, licked his piece, saying, "Lickings not eating and I didn't touch it!"
