I believe this comic is in the Genocide route, Chara/ Frisk hitting him, and at the end of the comic Sans knows what's going to happen in this timeline, Papyrus will just die again.

Wait so wouldn't Sans right eye already not glow therefore no need for Papyrus to have Sans test his eye? Or is this just a false memory they have to fill in the blanks since due to not remembering Gaster they don't remember why Sans can only get one eye to glow and can't even see out of the other? But then, why does Papyrus think it's due to Sans laziness.
