Spoilers: it does. Another benefit to doing these out of order! I totally referenced the final battle in Earthbound too, score.
This would probably be the first time they've seriously fought about something or raised their voices at each other. They're scared and in pain and aren't really handling this very well. No one is happy with this.
(Gaster isn't handling it very well either, not that he's going to admit it)
If you really want to feel bad, a lot of their conversation still applies if they were talking about you the Player, haha.

There aren't really very many good English onomatopoeias for really deep long gasps, that's what the first GGGHHHH noise is meant to be. Hopefully that came across? Oh well.

I've noticed a thing just briefly...
We all can see the picture, that Papyrus had drawn. Gaster made a smokehole throug his head on the picture. But I'm seeing another detail...
Remember on what the picture originally was drawn on? A quiz, he gave to Papyrus. But the question istn't there anymore. The question has been torn away.
I Gaster didn't have cared about the picture, he would've just throw the whole thing away. But instead, only the question was ripped... He kept the picture.
I'll let that sink in.
