Everyone is doing it and it looked fun!

1-Blueberry- The Bande-dessinée that got me into westerns and more mature comic books and graphic novels. I read so many of these!
2-Rocketeer- I love pulp heroes, but I love them even more when they have a jet pack and a cool helmet! Also I think it's one of the movies I watched the most as a kid.
3-Spirou- the stories and characters are so much fun! I'm also always in awe before Janry's artwork. He's one of those artist I find good at everything.
4-Star Wars- No originality here, but this was such an influence on me I could not avoid it. My favorite characters and settings come from those movies (the original trilogy of course).
5-Soda- A great action comic. It showed me that a cartoon style can work great with a very dark and mature story.
6- The guys at Creature Box- I love their concepts and their colorful and dynamic art. Ratchet and Clank is also one of my favorite videogame franchise.
7- World War 1- I love history in general, but this is the period I find the most fascinating.
8- Giant Robots and Machines- I can't draw them very well, but I sure like them!
9- Michael Turner- I got into reading comics with Witchblade and I tried to rip off his style for a long time when I was younger.
10- Olivier Vatine- One of my favorite artists and I discovered him because of his work on a Star Wars comic: Heir to the Empire. Which is also the first trade paperback I bought. He is also the artist on the first Bande Dessinée I bought for myself (because of the art) : Aquablue.
11- Ben Caldwell- In my opinion he is the master of the action pose and all things dynamic!I also love his character designs.
12- Dune- My favorite book serie. I'd like to be able to build a universe as deep and fascinating as this one.
13- Calvin and Hobbes- Because even if I'm always drawing chicks, dudes in armor and people punching each others, I'd really like to be able to draw something as touching as this comic
