Description
This is most likely my last KDE screenshot.
There is the update to KDE Plasma 6 within a few days now,and it looks like most of what is used for the themes,will no longer work,and using a default KDE desktop is not an option for me.
So for a few months now,knowing this was coming,I have been looking around for something to replace KDE,and one of the window managers I tried was Hyprland,all it took was a few minutes of use,and I knew that was the replacement I was looking for,so having another drive with Arch installed in this computer,I have been building up a Hyprland install ready to switch over to,all that is left to finish on it is to theme the terminal Alacritty,and find a replacement for Swaylock,which I had to disable due to it crashing.
I never intended to stay with KDE for as long as I did,I had mainly used the Openbox window manager in the past,and did a bit of hopping around for a change,with the intention of returning to Openbox,but found what could be done with KDE,and ended up staying on it for what must be around 5 years or so,but the forthcoming update to KDE has turned out to be a blessing,Hyprland is more suitable for my needs,and I can finally use my dual monitors as separate workspaces,rather than as one screen,plus it's much better to theme,and has some wonderful animations,and much more fun to play around with!
