This was such a simple drawing, and so easy and quick to do, but I think it came out very well. I picked that color for the background because I thought it would give the feeling of a child coloring on the carpeted living room floor, and I think that it unintentionally added alot to the overall feeling of the picture in a special way.

Mostly when I see your robots I think, "Okay, cute robot," but I don't really think about them much beyond that. This time, though, I wonder what the robot's doing--is he drawing a picture for his foster family? For the scientists who raised him? Is he showing a wish to go outside? This particular robot is very intriguing, so awesome job .

Thank you, and you practically nailed it. In my mind, this robot is a creation who has an adopted family, and is trying to learn to be a kid. That is why I chose that color for the floor, to represent the carpeted floor of a human dwelling, instead of the metalic silver or tile white of a labratory.
Thank you for lookings so deep into it, I have been trying to give them more personality.
