Description Looks like my primate tutorials were surprisingly well recieved and now in high demand so this inspired me to make more. Idk how steadily i'll be pumping out these throughout these upcoming weeks but i'll try to keep em coming when available

Baboons are a family of Old World monkey which include members of the genus Papio (geladas aka Theropithecus are also included here for the sake of convenience despite not being baboons themselves yet still closely related). They have several dog like features like being very cursorial (adapted for running) and having a canine like head with huge canine teeth which can be bigger than a lion's. They have very short yet strong fingers to help them run faster as well as climb hard and steep surfaces. They are among the most carnivorous monkeys feeding on everything from insects to baby antelope and medium sized birds while of course feeding on plant matter like grass, seeds, fruits, roots, among others.

Species shown here:

Chacma baboon, olive baboon, yellow baboon, guinea baboon, hamadryas baboon, gelada
