Description
When awaiting a game's sequel, I remember always being particularly excited to see the main character's new outfit. Like, Sora's black shpants in KH2, or Jak's slicked hair and goatee in Jak 2. And I had the same feeling for Gravity Rush 2. Upon seeing that Kat and Raven appear mostly the same, I realize their current designs are actually great as they are. But I thought it would be fun to imagine some sequel-suits anyway. 'u'I focused on emphasizing Kat's sun theme and top-heavy clothing - and Raven's moon theme and bottom-heavy clothing. And then, Kat's cat and Raven's raven seemed to be missing out, so I spruced up their silhouettes too. Drawing in the Gravity Rush style was very satisfyingly focus-inducing. It has a sort of imprecision to it, so I went through the whole process trying to be precisely imprecise.
Super duper fun to do.
If you want to see them standing straight-up, here they are doing exactly that:

Lovely designs! It really allows personalities to shine through and I like the inversed relationship between their clothing as you mentioned in your comment!~ I immediately made that connection~

You'd have to wonder exactly where they'd get those clothes from. I don't think gravity quite works that way (yet). I suppose someone could knit those blue parts into their outfits proper.

Indeed. I based those blue features on the fashion of the new town. So, I imagine Kat and Raven just bought or made some garments to match the trends.
