Description

Isabeau emigrated, by boat, from Marseille to Sicily in 1483 - running from a debit she had no intention of paying. She happily started to pick up the Italian dialect, knowing French and some Latin from worship. All that did her no good however, as red robed men descended into town looking for people who didn't quite fit.

Spanish, she had never learned and therefore could answer no questions intelligibly, try as she might. Her feet were generously soft and ticklish after mother nature applied annoying seawater and sand in her shoes during the recent trip, exfoliating and cleaning her skin. The first touch was the end, for poor Isabeau.

It was the Spanish Inquisition, and she hadn't expected it.
