The Alkonost's feather was known within arcane circles to have a multitude of magical properties. A lesser known effect and one quite odd, the touch of the feather on even the least ticklish of feet created uncontrolled hysteria in any female practitioner of the magical arts. How this was initially discovered was truly a mystery.

Unfortunately for Charlotte, the witch's apprentice, she was considerably more than slightly ticklish on her feet. She was in fact, exceedingly ticklish as many of her former lovers had discovered. The effect it produced that night was something rarely replicated or seen within the natural workings of the living world. It was quite the eventful All Hallows' Eve.
