Description Cancelled due to lag.

Working:
One level + boss
Pause menu press P or UP arrow key + left click
Move with mouse, fire missile holding right arrow key and clicking

The inspiration was J-shooters and how there is many many bullets on screen.

However I am using parts of this engine for my new similar game. Coming soon. Eventually.

Haha thanks. Did it lag really bad? I didn't realize I actually finished making the second level and a boss for it. The second level boss can't die yet.

hmm...

2 things that might reduce lag - cleaning the array as you play, and ensuring that EVERY object has: cacheAsBitmap=true;

I found it helps A LOT. The way flash is set up is that each shape is stored as a a set of vectors. When it is cached as a bitmap, it simply stores the color of each point. Or something like that. Either way, it seems to work.

Thanks! I looked up and it said that Flash already does it when you put a filter on something, but it did help for my non filtered movieclips!

Nope, didn't lag at all. Great game you have their. And yes I got to the second boss. I did notice that neither you or the second boss can die in the it though XD
