Description
It's as done as it's ever going to get.Lucas North from BBC's "Spooks" (as portrayed by Richard Armitage). This is a weird little sketch I did to initiate my new Moleskine sketchbook! (The paper is a cream color, so I retained that in the scan.)
This is graphite pencil, drawn freehand. Approximately 4x5 inches, I suppose. Mechanical pencil, I think .5 lead.
I have struggled with the likeness in this drawing. I have no objectivity when it comes to getting a good likeness sometimes and this is a classic example of that. It IS him! I can even say from which episode this shot was. Spooks series 9, episode 4. Somewhere in the beginning, and he was slinking with a knife in his hand... I really like this drawing! But I think that it would be better if you'll draw his shirt with the pencil. And what about tattoos?

Thanks! Now that I've gotten some sleep, I see that the face definitely needs more work, so I'll try to do that today. And fill in the shirt and add the tattoo!
