Description
A freehand sketch from my sketchbook, of British actor Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisborne from the BBC show "Robin Hood." He is tough to draw, but I think I am going to do more drawings of him because this was FUN!!! I harbor a secret passion for Richard Armitage and I cannot suppress it anymore! LOL.The sketch is very messy because I erased and fussed with it a lot, but it has to be done now! I don't think the drawing can sustain anymore scratching or erasures! It took something like 2-3 hours to complete, I think.

I've always liked this portrait. I think maidmelee said it best with "excuse me while I lick the screen". That and about getting all the planes of his face down so well.

Hi Zelda, I just wanted to tell you that I received your beautiful Guy print a couple of weeks ago. I found a 10x10 inch black frame for it. It looks wonderful installed the frame. The eye is perfect and the mouth is superb - so is everything else! I love that this is a freehand drawing. Great work! I look forward to seeing more of your art.
