I have a very particular perception of the freedom and the freedom of press and the democracy because I come from Soviet Union and I have a point of very special comparison, as you can suppose⦠For that reason I do not believe in the freedom of press in any country and any time. I believe that if etsan showing the truth to us some you see, of all ways is not all the truth and also always always they estan to us manipulating. I do not want to be a marionette nor a second but. It can be that for you that position is despicable that we must involve in the policy to be able to change something. I do not have faith that we can do something and if they are going to allow to us to do something of all ways sera politicized and later made lose. I see your point. Russia is one country that has a bitter history with government. Mine has declined and it was different when I was young, it may be different again.
That's good to know that English is popular. I have known some Russian people before, and that feeling that one can't change the government is not unusual to me. But to me, I have seen change come because of people's actions, and I am a writer. So I will write and do what I can -- and sometimes something like my art instruction book can do something anyway. We'll have to see what happens. Political change does not come alone, that is true enough. But I will vote again and it has to swing back, Bush has been in office too long.
I just hope the next one is better, has to be.

Yes as writer you have a very useful tool. I also hope that in your country they are going to see positive changes because the policy of your country changed my destiny to me just as the one of Soviet Union and not only mine - of my son and that already he is very serious. For that reason I have the hope that the people as your they are going to be able to change something.

We might. It's close to the next election, and there is a strong swell of opinion to change the administration. It was close last time. It was close both times that Bush got in, and people are getting sick of this.

Oh yes. The wars are very much a topic for this next election, the Democrats are for pulling out and Bush's government is for continuing the war. I want it over, the soldiers brought home, the whole thing turned my stomach. Sorry I did not mention that so far. But yes, the war is very much on people's minds as an election topic and most of the people I know are against it.

I would love it if you draw Ari from my posted Deviations. I post all my good photos of him, so I don't have more good ones stacked up in my hard drive. The good ones are online in my Gallery. I would be so grateful if you draw him! Did you mean you would send the actual drawing by physical mail when you do? I would love that! But if you mean image by email then that is great too. Enjoy drawing Ari! He is beautiful and easy to draw. The best face photo I have of him has a little "sleep" crumb in his eye but he is beautiful anyway and that can be left out on a drawing. This is the "sleep in his eye" link and this is another good face portrait: link except that there is a garbage bag on the floor behind him that I would leave out of any artwork. There is also a nice profile of him looking up at link . I hope you like these! He is a beautiful cat and I love seeing what other artists do when they draw him!

If are going you to like the drawing, then when I am going to go to the USA (I go almost every year), I am going it to command by the postal service or my son when she comes from Canada of vacations, normally I give all the drawings him that I want to command to everybody and she does because from Mexico

I saw quite a few -- I looked at a lot in thumbnail, but you have a big gallery and I didn't click on everything to comment. Sometime I will go back for the birds and landscapes, but I am not much into dogs or children unless it's my granddaughter Sascha, whom I still have to draw for her mother.
