This is one of the loadingscreens that I made for Crusader Kings 2 while doing my internship at Paradox Interactive.The image belongs to Paradox Interactive, and I have their permission to show it here.
The task for me here was to draw a historical image showing a battle between christians and muslims at the gate of some city in the Holy Land during the Middle Ages.
Funny story, the dead knight lying down just under the crusader in the middle initially had two arrows sticking out from his neck, but those were removed to keep a specific age rating for the game.
This was probably the one image that was most fun to draw, because of all the action going on in it.
