He looks pretty pissed off so you dont wanna get involved with him but get stuck staring at him because he's... well, pretty hot... suddenly he turns to you just as a car comes zooming at you and pushes you out of the way just in time. "WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING FUCKASS!" he shouts at you. You find him really rude but at the same time his fiery spirit intrigues you and you realize you want him.
"w..w..uu..um.. th..thank you .. s..s.sorry..." you sputter out, he saved your life and you have no idea what to say to him, what kind of idiot are you anyway? "Yeah whatever just fucking watch out next time" he says, angrily blushing. As he turns to leave around the corner you want to stop him, "Wait!" you yell after him. "What the fuck do you want?" he spat. "Well I... I Didn't properly thank you back there.. I mean I need to do SOMETHING for you, You just saved my life" you say. He sighs, "listen, I appreciate your appreciation, but dont mention it ok? like I said, whatever" you feel helpless and dont know what to say so you two just stand there for a bit. "Hey, listen, if you.. r..r.really want to do me a favor could you come over my place and take care of this dog? this girl left it at my place and I have no clue what to do with it..." he looks at you nervously, flustered. "Of course! really, its the least I can do, Besides I love animals!" He looks kind of happy, well happy enough for someone who was super pissed just a while ago. "So I'll see you tomorrow then?" he asks you "Yeah, tomorrow, cool" you say. You walk home that day with a fluttery feeling in your stomach. You couldn't quite put your finger on it but there was something about him that drove you crazy, he was amazing in all ways possible. You were in a good mood all the rest of the afternoon, jumpy in anticipation to see him again the following morning.

__ The next morning ___

You end up at his place and he greets you "Hey there! glad you could come!" you seemed suprised at this, he was awfully chipper today, maybe... he felt the same as you felt about him... and thats what put him in a good mood.. You secretly hoped so but highly doubted this, you didn't think much of yourself, and didn't think he liked you that much either, you thought he saw you as an annoyance. "Come on in!" you followed him into his apartment, the first thing that greeted you was a huge white wolf looking dog. "Aw what a cutie!" you pet the huge beast as it wags its tail and woofs at you. "Want some faygo?" he offers you a orange faygo and you chug it from the bottle, you were so thirsty. "Heh... thanks" you say, you thought it might have been rude of you to chug it so fast but he didnt seem angry so you thought it was ok. "No prob, so anyway um.. I never got your name yet..." "Oh heh.. my name's [insert reader's name], and yours?" "Ha well it might sound like a weird name but my name's karkat" "I don't think that's a weird name! I love it!! err I mean I think it's cool..."
Things were kind of awkward so far but aw what the heck he's just so cute! "So um are you from around here karkat?" he didn't look like he was from here from what you could see "Uhm not really... you could say I'm kind of like an alien.." he looks at you nervously and you grin at him "It's ok, even I live around here, I'm still treated weirdly, I'm not so... normal, either" he smiles at you "then I guess we're alike haha" "Yeah, I guess so!" you smile back at him.

From that day forward you two were great friends. He seemed happy talking to you, and you were happy too. You told each other everything and felt safe that he would keep your secrets. After awhile you realized that both of you wanted to be more than friends but it was just so awkward, you didn't know what to do. "Hey karkat...?" you nervously whispered one day when you two were walking together. "Hm?" "Well, I was thinking, we've been friends for a while now and .." you both stood there for a while, you were scared of what he would say "You wanted to be more than friends?" Your heart almost sprung out of your chest "Yes! how did you know?" "I've been feeling the same way, and I never got the chance to ask you, I was scared you wouldn't feel the same way but now I know that you do and... I'm really happy" he blushed madly and looked away. You both stopped walking. Your heart started beating faster and faster as he pulled your face closer to his, you closed your eyes and wrapped your arms around his shoulders, and as his lips met yours you felt as if you and him were alone, and that you were the only two people in the universe, it was truly magical. And just like that it was over. You were craving more but he looked extremley embarassed and his whole face was red! "what's wrong?" you ask gently "Well, it's nothing, I'm just nervous that's all.." you felt slightly sad but thought it was best to save the rest for when he was ready "It's ok karkat we can stop, erm.. did I do something wrong?" "D...D..don't be stupid you were fine" you both started to walk again, you felt distraught, now things are awkward again. Finally you made it to your house "So erm I guess I should go..." you slowly trudge to the door but suddenly karkat runs to you "[your name] wait! I erm.. I just wanted to tell you that.. I .. I have red feelings for you and that I.. Love you" your spirits suddenly rise and you run to him, locking him into another passionate kiss. Between breaths he whispers your name "[y..o..ur.. name]" you love it when he says your name "mmmm?" you reply dreamily "I don't.. ever want to be without you.."
