:c idk you guys.I really like my ferret style, but this is more "ferret like". It looks too normal. D: bah.
I think I'd be too depressed to change my ferret style into this, lol. it doesn't look bad though. ;-; but my other style doesn't look ferret like.. ? .... but I can also argue that cartoons aren't always accurate and they don't have to be.
has anyone seen Catscratch? they only sort of resemble cats. and uh, Disney's goofy? o_o .... he's a dog right?? I don't even know. XD Zenity's supposed to be a cartoon anyway, so... why should I worry about making her look like an actual ferret?Idk. I'd like to hear some opinions from my watchers, plz.
I'll scrap this later after I'm sure I've gotten enough feedback.

It really depends on what you're going for, I'd say- if you're trying to make your art more realistic, I'd change it to this one. Of course, if you're actively trying to make it more cartoony or you really just don't care either way, I'd keep the older one - not BECAUSE she doesn't look like a ferret, but because as far as I know (haven't been around long) that's how she started. I don't see the point of changing the style unless you want to make it more realistic, so if that doesn't apply... no reason to switch.
Of course, I'm not sure I should have ANY say, since I don't draw.

ahah, thank you for the input. Zen the ferret started off with extreme ferrety resemblance, long body and smooth head, it was very ferret-y. but.. that only lasted about 3 drawings. XD it started changing and I honestly can't remember how I got it so stylized. ._. I want to say I don't care either way, and I agree with your statement. I don't think I should switch the style if I don't particularly care about being realistic. (which, I don't)

I like your original ferret, Zenity. I can tell it's a ferret. ^^ People often mistake my characters for different things because I tend to draw them in my own style. But isn't drawing them like that make them one of a kind? It's up to you entirely on what you do. I still say I like the pointy ears!

yeah... ;-; the pointy eared, angular style I've got with Zenity currently feels really unique to me and I feel like I came up with it all on my own. :C hm.

Yeah. that's the only reason I'm considering changing it. cause people tend to think it's a wolf or dog... I really don't care if people do, but... meh. my current style just seems to have more originality or ... personality. it's angular and I made it up on my own. :c meh.

maybe if you drew it with more of a ferret body instead of a dog body people would think its more of a ferret instead even if you kept the pointy ears?

well to me, anime is still a cartoon. just from another country. XD it seems to me like your opinion of a cartoon drawing means no effort. Effort was put into my cartoony style, anyway, to make it into what it is today. ._. I dunno if that's saying much, but I think it's pretty unique now.
