this template was created using GIMP, thus it is best used under GIMP software/application, although this template file may be compatible with adobe photoshop, the experience could be very different.

this template contains three different folder icon style templates:

1. Windows 11 folder icon style
2. Apple Mac OSX Maverick and earlier folder icon style
3. Apple Mac OSX Yosemite and later folder icon style

please do reference this template with youtube online tutorial video if you want to learn how to use this template properly.

the template has minimum but also essential layers for creating folder icons, you may implement more layers as you see fit.
