This is a quick tutorial of creating a folder icon, from extract movie title to crop poster to make a folder icon. also including pseudo 3D like folder icon.

hopefully you will have fun making your own folder icons.

p.s. this is a basic tutorial, you can add shadows to your character, have different movie titles that are more clear (or ready made); the pseudo 3D template is different each time, so you you might want to save one that you like to use repeatedly later.

p.p.s. don't ask for photoshop version of this tutorial, because i don't use adobe photoshop software, can't afford $30 dollars monthly ongoing fee to subscribe this software, perhaps you can consider using GIMP instead?
